Aspen Medicine, Taos

I have a backlog of Beauty Dialogue posts to write, but this morning I woke up in Taos to find the world covered in snow and suddenly there is only one (click to see her larger)…

  1. Excellent food for thought, as always. It’s very interesting to see how folks are transmuting all the Web 2.0 gadgetry into a kind of spiritual practice. That’s definitely something I could get behind!

  2. Hi Amy: Thanks for spreading the meme! A columnist from the NYT just wrote me about this, so maybe the concept has legs…Love the photo 🙂

  3. “What was the Beauty that stood out for you this year?”

You mean besides discovering this blog? 🙂

    Happy New Year, Amy!

  4. Hello Amy,
Happy New year. One incredibly beautiful thing I observed, was the trees here in Georgia giving us a color filled Fall even though we’d been in serious drought conditions for months. I watch closely the beauty here. And watching that just hit me square in the heart so fully, my appreciation overflowed. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful. I felt the consciousness of Nature’s Intelligence. There was at first these small bursts. And I mean small, if you were not looking in the right direction you’d miss it. This went on for weeks, and then suddenly we had a huge RAIN,and in a couple of days color EXPLODED everywhere. I took it personally as though It had done it just for me. And I believe It did.
Thank you for letting me share this event
    Love and Blessings,
    Courtney

  5. Ah, Courtney, thank YOU for sharing this beautiful gift with us.

I was so touched reading your story… it shows how simple and natural and yet so absolutely astounding “Nature’s Intelligence” really is.

And Darin, you are so sweet! 🙂 Thank you so much for your deep listening & appreciation.

    Amy

  6. You must be, because when I was out there this weekend, I was struck by the greeeeeen the whole time, but maybe that’s because things don’t get green here in Colorado for awhile yet…
